Shine Rider’s Company was created in the summer of 2010 in Aptos, CA by Lindsay Beth Currier with the intent of bringing awareness to the talented and dedicated female riders of the area. Shine brings positivity, stoke, and inspiration to those pursuing a career or life in gravity driven bike sports. Additionally Shine strives to produce sustainable, green products.
This year, Shine will be hosting the XX Dirt Duel, a dirt jump contest just for the ladies! Pro gals that will be competing include: Kat Sweet, Lisa Myklak, and hopefully the great “wonder woman” Tammy Donahugh. If you would like to compete or know of any ladies that should be invited to throw down, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Way Bobby Sees It is a gripping documentary about Bobby McMullen, a competitive mountain biker on a mission to race the most demanding downhill course in the country. Adding to the difficulty: Bobby is blind.
With the help of a guide and a rigorous training schedule, Bobby is determined to race his bike down a course riddled with obstacles and flanked by steep, life-threatening cliffs. But, the racecourse isn’t the only challenge in Bobby’s life. Between thrills, spills and jaw dropping helmet camera footage, we see how Bobby uses humor, determination, and unshakeable optimism to battle adversity – both on and off the bike.

It’s fun to be involved in such a health-oriented business, and to offer products that can enhance your enjoyment of cycling. All of us enjoy cycling and helping our customers increase their enjoyment of it as well. So, if you’ve noticed (or heard) that we’re a friendly place to shop, give us a chance to put a smile on your face, too. Stop by whenever you can.
Four best friends since Kindergarten, we’ve always had a love and passion for cycling. We’ve also always wondered why bicycles cost so much. During our senior year of college, we decided to solve this problem by creating our own brand, which we named Pure Fix Cycles.
The company’s mission is to increase bicycle riders on the road and to make the world a better place, by cutting out the middleman and providing affordable bikes ($325) that anyone can be proud of. Our goal is not just to create another bicycle company, but to help shape and complement an active urban lifestyle.
Each bike is unique in that it acts as a reflection of the rider’s personality. Riders can choose from different limited-edition bicycles with unique color combinations, and can further customize them to make each bike one of a kind. We also sell bike wheels, grips, footstraps, and Pure Fix branded t-shirts. Our focus on individual riders has allowed us to sell thousands of bikes by solely advertising through our website and social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, You Tube and our blog.
Full Speed Ahead produces world class products for cyclists all over the world.
