SF Urban Riders spent the weekend of Oct. 30 building a pump track for the 2010 bike expo at the Cow Palace. A skeleton crew tweaked the track over the next week to have it ready for the November 6 event. About 200 people rode it that day. By mid-morning on Sunday, heavy rain had turned the track back into the mud hole we started with. Shouldn’t we have a permanent facility like this in San Francisco?
